Terms of Use
Last Updated: September 8, 2026
Welcome to Clean Master: Storage Saver ("Clean Master", the "App", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the App and its related features and services.
By downloading, accessing, or using Clean Master, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. About Clean Master
Clean Master is an iOS utility app designed to help users review and manage content on their devices and connected services.
Depending on the version of the App and the features available to you, Clean Master may provide functions such as:
- Duplicate and similar photo review;
- Large photo and video management;
- Swipe-based photo cleanup;
- Video compression;
- Storage review and cleanup guidance;
- Gmail email organization and cleanup;
- Gmail sender and mailing-list unsubscribe assistance;
- Other storage-management or organization tools.
Certain features require permissions or access to third-party services. You may choose whether to grant those permissions, but some features may not work without them.
2. Photo and Video Features
When you grant Photos access, Clean Master may help you identify, review, organize, compress, or remove photos and videos.
You are responsible for reviewing selected items before confirming a deletion or cleanup action.
Files removed through iOS Photos may remain available in the system Recently Deleted album for a period determined by Apple and your device settings. Clean Master does not control Apple's Recently Deleted behavior or retention period.
Storage-saving amounts, compression results, file groupings, duplicate detection, similarity detection, and other estimates may vary depending on the content, device, file format, and system behavior.
3. Gmail Email Cleanup Features
Clean Master may offer optional Gmail cleanup features. These features are available only after you choose to connect a Google account and grant the required Google permissions.
3.1 Google Account Authorization
Gmail access is provided through Google's authorization process.
Clean Master does not require you to provide your Google password directly to the App.
You may decline or revoke Gmail authorization at any time. If Gmail access is not granted or is later revoked, Gmail-related features may become unavailable, while other Clean Master features may continue to function.
Your use of Gmail is also subject to Google's own terms, policies, and account rules.
3.2 Email Organization and Classification
Clean Master may help organize or display Gmail messages by factors such as sender, category, date, size, mailing-list status, or other message information available through Gmail.
Email classifications and cleanup suggestions are provided for convenience. They may not always be complete or perfectly accurate.
You are responsible for reviewing messages before selecting them for deletion, cleanup, or another action.
3.3 Deleting Emails
When you confirm an email deletion through Clean Master, the App may use Gmail APIs to move selected messages or threads to Gmail Trash.
Unless the App clearly states otherwise, an email cleanup action should not be understood as bypassing Gmail Trash to permanently erase a message immediately.
Messages moved to Trash remain subject to Gmail's own deletion, recovery, retention, and account-storage rules.
Clean Master is not responsible for messages deleted by the user, messages automatically removed by Gmail, or changes made outside the App.
3.4 Unsubscribing From Senders
Clean Master may help you unsubscribe from mailing lists or senders when an unsubscribe option is available.
The unsubscribe feature may rely on sender-provided methods, including unsubscribe links, email headers, web pages, or other mechanisms made available by the sender or mailing-list provider.
By choosing Unsubscribe, you authorize Clean Master to initiate or assist with the unsubscribe action you selected.
We do not guarantee that:
- Every sender supports unsubscribe;
- An unsubscribe request will be processed immediately;
- A sender will stop all future messages;
- A sender's unsubscribe link or service will remain available or function correctly.
Some unsubscribe actions may redirect you to, communicate with, or rely on a third-party website or service. Those third parties may have their own terms and privacy practices.
3.5 Google API Requirements
Clean Master's access to Google user data is subject to applicable Google API policies.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
For additional details about how Gmail data is accessed and used, please review our Privacy Policy.
4. Permissions and Connected Services
The App may request permissions such as:
- Photos access;
- Network access;
- Google account authorization;
- Other permissions necessary for specific features.
You are responsible for deciding whether to grant these permissions.
You may revoke permissions through iOS settings, Google Account settings, or available in-app controls. Revoking a permission may prevent the related feature from functioning.
5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Some Clean Master features may require a paid subscription or other in-app purchase.
When you purchase a subscription through Apple's App Store:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account according to the price and billing period shown before purchase;
- Subscriptions may renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off in accordance with Apple's subscription rules;
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account settings;
- Billing, renewal, cancellation, refund eligibility, and payment processing are handled by Apple under Apple's applicable terms and policies.
Any free trial, introductory offer, promotional offer, or discounted subscription is subject to the eligibility, duration, and pricing shown in the App Store purchase interface at the time of purchase.
Clean Master does not control Apple's billing systems or guarantee that a user qualifies for a particular Apple subscription offer.
6. Advertising
The App may display advertisements.
Advertising availability, format, frequency, and eligibility may vary by user, region, subscription status, app version, or other factors.
Certain paid plans may reduce or remove advertising as described in the App at the time of purchase.
7. User Responsibilities
You agree to use Clean Master only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You are responsible for:
- Reviewing files, photos, videos, and emails before deletion;
- Maintaining backups of important content when appropriate;
- Protecting access to your device and connected accounts;
- Ensuring you have the right to manage the content and accounts you connect to the App;
- Complying with applicable laws and third-party service terms.
You must not misuse the App to interfere with systems, gain unauthorized access, distribute malicious content, violate another person's rights, or use connected services in a way prohibited by their terms.
8. Third-Party Services
Clean Master may interact with services operated by third parties, including Apple, Google, advertising providers, analytics providers, and other service providers.
Third-party services are not controlled by Clean Master. Their availability, content, policies, security, and functionality are governed by the applicable third party.
Use of Gmail-related features is also subject to Google's applicable terms and policies.
Use of App Store purchases is also subject to Apple's applicable terms and policies.
We are not responsible for interruptions, policy changes, account restrictions, data loss, or other issues caused by a third-party service.
9. Availability and Changes to Features
We may add, modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time.
Certain functions may differ based on:
- App version;
- iOS version;
- Device model;
- Region;
- Subscription status;
- Permissions granted;
- Third-party API or service availability.
We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available permanently or function identically on every device or account.
10. No Guarantee of Specific Storage Savings
Clean Master is intended to assist with content review and storage management.
We do not guarantee that use of the App will:
- Free a specific amount of device or cloud storage;
- Improve device speed by a specific amount;
- Detect every duplicate, similar file, large file, or unwanted email;
- Reduce storage used by third-party apps in every case.
Actual results depend on the files, accounts, device, operating system, and user actions involved.
11. Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, interface, designs, graphics, text, and other original content, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the App for its intended purpose.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Clean Master or its intellectual property to you.
Third-party names, trademarks, services, and logos remain the property of their respective owners.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Clean Master is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not make warranties that the App will always be uninterrupted, error-free, completely accurate, or compatible with every device, account, file, or third-party service.
Cleanup recommendations, classifications, storage estimates, compression estimates, email classifications, and unsubscribe availability may contain errors or change over time.
You are responsible for reviewing and confirming actions that may affect your files, media, emails, or connected accounts.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Clean Master and its developer, provider, affiliates, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App.
This includes, where permitted by law, loss of files, photos, videos, emails, account data, profits, business opportunities, or other content resulting from user actions, third-party services, device behavior, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
14. Termination
You may stop using Clean Master at any time.
We may restrict or terminate access to the App or particular features where reasonably necessary to protect the App, users, third parties, or comply with applicable law or platform requirements.
Termination of App access does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Subscription cancellation must be handled through the applicable Apple account settings.
You may separately revoke Google account access through your Google Account settings.
15. Privacy
Your use of Clean Master is also governed by our Privacy Policy:
https://photo-organiser-344a9.web.app/privacy_policy.html
The Privacy Policy explains how information and permissions are handled, including Google Gmail data used by the email cleanup features.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App, Gmail features, subscription offerings, third-party requirements, laws, or business practices.
The Last Updated date at the top of this document indicates when these Terms were most recently revised.
If required by applicable law or platform policy, we may provide additional notice of material changes.
Your continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
